About the role
We’re looking for an “HR Swiss Army Knife”, who is excited about the prospect of taking ownership of the broad and important task of people operations for our New York office. You are involved in the whole employee life-cycle, which means you enjoy selling the vision and culture of GAN to candidates as well as working on employee engagement and development.

What you’ll do
Act as point of contact in general employment and HR matters
Own the employee onboarding & offboarding process for all US employees
Own the payroll process and benefits management through the company’s PEO
Prepare offer letters, release-notes, employment letters & other employee documents
Update company HR system and employee records
Ensure that GAN complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements and advise management on needed actions
Create, revise and update company policies
Support recruitment for GANs US teams and work with the Recruiting Manager on global recruitment strategy as needed
What we’re looking for
3+ years experience in an HR generalist/specialist role - preferably from a small organization
Experience working in a small HR team, taking ownership of your own tasks and prioritising your time
Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, especially with New York State
Experience with managing organization-wide benefits & compensation - including payroll
Exceptional operational mindset and very proactive attitude
High level of compassion and emotional intelligence
Experience with internal recruitment is a plus
General tech-savviness and experience with HR & recruiting tech
International experience is a big plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
