As our new Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be working in a product team with highly skilled and dedicated people to deliver solutions and services to our enterprise customers. In collaboration with the rest of the engineering team, you will help set the direction for our architecture and the way we build, run and deploy our services and APIs.


In this role, you will be 

  • Working closely with the product management, design, and other developers to design, prototype, test and improve the application
  • Developing new features using the newest Angular versions
  • Writing unit- and e2e tests for new functionality
  • Participating in our GAN UI shared components library development
  • Being part of our Frontend bi-weekly meeting where you can contribute to solving current challenges and propose new and better ways of doing things and improve the project
  • Agreeing with the Backend team on the REST API contracts
  • Playing an important role in promoting and implementing best practices
  • Optimizing the application for maximum performance
  • Sparring and peer-reviewing the code with colleagues in the R&D team


Requirements

  • JavaScript experience, 3+ years
  • Experience with Typescript 
  • Experience in working with REST APIs and JSON
  • Experience with client-side compatibility and performance considerations
  • Good knowledge of testing frameworks for JavaScript and testing in general
  • Being comfortable with working independently on delivering and shipping code
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • You

    • Like to take ownership of your work and when you provide input and feedback; it's constructive, positive, and aimed at productively resolving challenges.

It is an advantage if you have 

  • Experience working with Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic, GitLab, and a range of AWS services
  • Experience with Rxjs and with state management
